This video is based on the article from the October 9, 1971 edition of TV GUIDE titled Here's What Really Happened to Branabas & Co. It was written by Sam Hall, one of the writers for Dark Shadows. It was an attempt to resolve all the unresolved storylines from the show since it's cancellation in April 1971. This video neglects to tell us how Roger Collins died! Upon discovering Barnabas is a vampire, Roger sets out with a hammer and stake to kill Barnabas. Angelique appears and kills Roger! His ghost haunts Collinwood. It appears and points a spectral finger at the portrait of Barnabas Collins! Julia Hoffman surmised that the reason for Barnabas' mysterious illness (mentioned in the video) was his link to Adam. With the aid of Professor Stokes, they found Adam in the Far East and cured him, thus curing Barnabas. After Julia and Barnabas' marriage in Singapore, Barnabas felt they should never return to Collinwood. Angelique must not find them-for she would never allow Julia to live. So they stayed on. It's the shame that none of the plot outlines described in the article and this video will ever be filmed. All we'll probably ever get is more crappy remakes!
